Kuwait hikes import duty on rebar from non-GCC countries to 10 percent

SteelOrbis has heard from market sources that Kuwait has increased its import duty for rebar originating in non-GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries to 10 percent from five percent.

The increased rebar import duty will be effective from March 1, 2018, until the end of February 2019.
